Terms of Service

1. Who we are. TravelQuest Inc., an independent travel agency based in Edison, NJ ("TravelQuest," "we," "us"). We help travelers research and book flights. We are not an airline and we are not an ARC-accredited ticketing entity; your e-ticket is issued by an accredited ticketing partner within the airline's reservation system, not by travelquest. We act as an intermediary between you and the airline.

2. Quotes and bookings. A quote is an offer based on fares available at the time it is prepared; airline fares and seat availability can change until a ticket is issued. Nothing is booked and nothing is charged until you provide written approval of your quote. By approving a quote you confirm that the information provided is accurate and you authorize the charges listed in that quote.

3. What you pay. Each booking involves two separate charges, both disclosed in your written quote before you authorize payment: (a) the airfare, which is the airline's price including all applicable taxes, airport fees, and carrier surcharges, billed by the airline and appearing on your statement under the airline's name, subject to the airline's fare rules; and (b) our service fee, which varies with the complexity of the trip, is shown in full in your quote, does not increase after you approve it, and appears on your statement as TRAVELQUEST. Our fee is compensation for our services and is entirely separate from the airfare.

4. Your responsibilities. You are responsible for providing accurate passenger names and travel details; names must exactly match the government-issued identification that will be presented for travel. You are also responsible for holding valid passports, visas, and any other travel documents required by your destination. We are not responsible for denied boarding, denied entry, or related costs resulting from incorrect information you supply or missing or expired travel documents.

5. Changes and cancellations. Airfare changes, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the airline's fare rules for the specific ticket purchased, which are included in your written quote. Our service-fee refund terms are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. To request a change or cancellation, contact us rather than contacting the airline directly unless we instruct you to, as doing so may void your booking.

6. Airline performance. Airlines operate and control the flights. We are not responsible for airline delays, cancellations, schedule changes, overbooking, missed connections, lost or damaged baggage, or any other acts, omissions, or failures of airlines, airports, or other third parties. When an airline cancels or significantly alters a flight, we will assist you in pursuing the remedies available under the airline's policies and applicable law.

7. Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to our services is limited to the service fee you paid us for the specific booking giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of travel opportunities, loss of enjoyment, or costs of replacement travel. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association in Edison, NJ, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm. You agree to resolve any claims on an individual basis and not as part of a class action.
